Nonvoting Stock



Nonvoting Stock or Non-Voting Stock - Nonvoting Stock is capital stock which does not provide the owner with the right to vote on corporate matters, such as the election of the Board of Directors. Voting stock is the stock issued by a corporation that does not entitle its stockholder to voting rights at the shareholders meetings. Generally, preferred stock is nonvoting stock.
