Director
Director
- A
Director is a person, but not a corporation or other organization, who serves on
a corporation's Board of Directors. To be a director, the person need not
be a shareholder, officer or other employee of the corporation or even a
resident of the state of incorporation. At an annual or special
shareholders' meeting, the corporation's shareholders elect the director
or, at any time and with or without cause, remove the director. See Board of
Directors.
