Annual Meeting

Annual Meeting - The laws governing corporations in most jurisdictions require you to hold an annual shareholder's meeting to elect the members of your Board of Directors. For example, California Corporations Code Section 301 explicitly requires a corporation to hold an annual meeting of the shareholders to elect its directors. Also, most corporate by-laws and corporate laws require an annual meeting of the board of directors.
