Agent

Agent - An agent is an individual or entity authorized to act on behalf of another individual or entity (the "principal"). For example, the agent might negotiate the acquisition of an industrial building for the principal (real estate agent) or travel to Asia to purchase goods on behalf of the principal (a buying agent). Generally, in an agency situation, the principal rather than the agent assumes the financial risk in the transaction. As with any agency situation, you must clearly define and limit the actions you are authorizing your agent to perform for your corporation.
